Craftsman Style Architecture

Big Springs was a natural evolution of Northstar, a community that began its development with modest slopeside condos and customs homes that sprung up around its 18-hole championship golf course. Development at Big Springs began in the early 2000s with custom homes designed in the traditional Craftsman style by architects like Dennis Zirbel and Kurt Reinkens. Homes at Big Springs are part of the Northstar Property Owners Association, which maintains a terrific fitness center near the base of the Old Village with tennis courts and several swimming pools/hot tubs, two of which are heated all year round. A shuttle allows for easy access to the slopes and the many year-round activities in the Village, which include ice skating, concerts, and an array of restaurants and shopping.
