Luxury Lakefront Homes & Cabins
Architectural styles here vary in Zephyr Cove, and it's not uncommon to find a historic cabin across the street from multi-million-dollar remodeled lakefront homes. That's especially true of Elk Point, a gated community next to the Nevada State Beach. Developed in the 1920s as a retreat for the Elk's Club members, this neighborhood features quaint cabins & lakefronts with stunning panoramic views. The community has a member beach on Lake Tahoe with a boat launch, swimming area, and boat slips reserved for owners & their guests.
Zephyr Cove stretches from Cave Rock in the north to Round Hill (home to Elk Point) near the casinos and nightlife of Stateline, NV. State beaches are sprinkled along this stretch of shoreline, which includes a few private HOA beaches like Skyland (where Bill Harrah built his home alongside the lakefront mansion where he "entertained the entertainers," complete with a Himalayan salt room.)
A little to the north, the community of Marla Bay offers a range of similar range of homes, including condos, clustered around an HOA beach in a very walkable neighborhood that's close to everything, but hidden from the traffic of Highway 50.
Homes a little higher up in elevation at Zephyr Cove Heights offer big blue views of Lake Tahoe with prices starting under $1 million.
Zephyr Cove is a hub of year-round recreation, with the Zephyr Cove Resort RV & Campground at the hub. Summers are enjoyed at the lake, and winter activities include snowmobile tours of the scenic trails along Spooner Summit to Marlettte Lake, and skiing at Heavenly, which is just minutes away.
