The public school school just outside ArrowCreek's main gate, Hunsberger Elementary, is one of the top-ranked schools in Nevada. Sage Ridge, a private school nearby, offers a college prep curriculum for grades 4 - 12. Also close by is Bishop Manogue High School, one of the best high schools in the region.
24-hour security
The community is gated, and the main entrance is staffed full-time by security personnel, who notify residents when guests arrive to visit them. While this area of South Reno is not a high crime area, some residents like the privacy the gate affords. It has the effect of keeping out unnecessary traffic, which is nice in a Country Club like ArrowCreek, where golf carts are as common as joggers.
Convenient Location
ArrowCreek is just minutes from some of Reno's best dining & shopping, including the Apple store, Dillard's, and specialty shops like Orvis, but close enough to the mountains to offer superior skiing and hiking at Mt. Rose. Lake Tahoe, and its year-round activities, is only 25 minutes away.
