Jackie was raised back East, and has lived and worked throughout the world, from the San Francisco Bay Area & Mexico City, where she worked as a journalist, to Ireland, and Nevada. But the place she feels most at "home" is Truckee, where she recently finished building a home designed by Kurt Reinkens of MWA. "The world offers s many beautiful places, and I feel fortunate to have experienced so much," she says. "But the mountains and alpine lakes of the Sierra Nevada are spiritually home to me, a place were I feel I belong."
