Prosser Homes for Sale in Truckee
The zoning in many parts of Prosser allows for horses, and more rural living just minutes from downtown Truckee. While the general area is named for Prosser Lake, it's comprised of several distinct areas:
- Prosser Lakeview, east of Highway 89 on the SW side of Prosser Lake
- Prosser Lakeview Estates, homes on larger parcels closest to the Lake
- Prosser Lakeview Heights, a horsey neighborhood west of Highway 89 near Gray's Crossing
- Prosser Lake Acreages, ranch-style homes off Prosser Damn Road
- Prosser Woods Estates, directly north of the Golf Course at Gray's Crossing
- Pannonia Ranchos, a gated community of homes on acreage off Prosser Damn Road

Mountain Biking & Walking Trails
Most of Prosser is very walkable, with bike trails connecting the area to downtown Truckee, the Alder Creek Middle School, and the Truckee Park & Recreation Center. Some of the paved trails are snow blown in winter. It's a great area for mountain biking, with dirt trails connecting to Prosser Dam and beyond to Boca Dam.
Homes here are owned mostly by full-time residents who appreciate the rural character and privacy the area offers.
