Jackie Ginley, Luxury Marketing Specialist

When a lake Tahoe property like this 3-bedroom pictured above sells for more than $10 Million, most people assume it's about location, square footage, and timing.

It's not.

It’s about emotion.

Jackie's Unique Lifestyle Marketing

Today’s luxury buyers aren’t just purchasing a home—they’re buying a vision of how their life will feel when they’re there. The stillness of early mornings on the water. Evenings with alpenglow on the mountains. Weekends that feel like an escape, even when they’re not.

That’s where my approach is different.

Before real estate, I worked as an award-winning journalist in the San Francisco Bay Area. Storytelling was my craft—and it remains the foundation of how I market homes today. Rather than focusing solely on specs, I create what I call lifestyle marketing: campaigns designed to immerse buyers in the experience of living in a property.

For a recent lakefront sale that closed at $10.4 million, I produced the film-quality video you can view above that didn’t just show the home—it brought the Tahoe lifestyle to life. It captured what it feels like to have the lake as your backyard.

This kind of storytelling does more than generate views—it creates emotional connection. And emotional connection is what drives premium offers.

If you’re considering selling, I’d welcome the opportunity to share how this approach could position your property to stand apart in the market—and ultimately command its full value.

Jackie Ginley: Local Tahoe Expertise & Proven Track Record

A Broker in both California & Nevada, I have been ranked as one of the Top 1.5% of Realtors in the United States, with a sales volume of more than $100 Million over the past few years.jackie ginley

I'm a graduate of the Harvard Law School Program on Negotiation and Specialist in Luxury Home Marketing  serving Lake Tahoe, Truckee & Northern Nevada.

My undergraduate degree is from Georgetown University (CAS '88), and while I was raised back East (and have lived throughout the world), my heart is here in Tahoe/Truckee, where I recently finished building my Dream Home, a beautiful Kurt Reinkens, MWA design pictured below while under construction.

What's a "Home"?

Home to me has always been more than the sum of its parts; it's an aesthetic that sometimes captures the way light plays at various times of the day ... or the way materials combine to make a statement. Having enjoyed the privilege of working so closely with many of our outstanding Tahoe architects, I've often thought the most outstanding design work here in Tahoe takes its lead from one of two traditions: that of Julia Morgan or Frank Lloyd Wright.

Morgan's work, especially in the Bay Area, drew heavily on the Arts and Crafts Movement and its celebration of wood, stone, and especially the fine art of joinery. As her architectural influence migrated up the mountain, it evolved into a distinctly Tahoe expression—where rustic scale meets refined craftsmanship, and big timber construction meets the Eastern-inspired artistry of Greene & Greene.

My personal aesthetic, as you can see on the left, aligns closely with that lineage. But I've been delighted in recent years to work with architects and designers who are pushing the envelope of contemporary designs that seem to take their lead from the Frank Lloyd Wright tradition of "organic modernism."

Reminiscent of his famed "Fallingwater," these are homes that feel like they belong to the mountain terrain on which they sit.  Tahoe, with its heavy snow loads, high altitude sun exposure, and unpredictable winds, acts like a filter for the Frank Lloyd Wright's flat roof designs with strong horizontal lines; some architectural styles simply don’t “survive” here aesthetically or practically. One project I'll have coming on the market here soon is the epitome of that design aesthetic ... adapted for Tahoe conditions.

Watersong

“‘Watersong’ is a study in mountain modernism—an architectural response to its setting where structure, landscape, and climate exist in quiet alignment.

You can click on this link for more info on Watersong, in Clear Creek, Tahoe. It's a feat of engineering and a testament to the builder, Reyes Construction (ironically, the same builders who constructed my Old Tahoe style home pictured above). The firm is owned by Javier Reyes and his brother, Mario, a duo who had been framing homes for other well known builders here for more than a decade before deciding to venture out on their own.

Watching Watersong emerge from the steep hillside on which it's anchored was like watching a small village emerge. It's a marvel in the making, and a testament to Mario's master framing skills. He is a builder who literally sees in 3D. Watch for new marketing on that home soon; at 11,215 sf, with an optional casita, indoor spa and fitness center, it is the "Ultimate" trophy home.

When you're thinking of selling your home, allow me the opportunity to present you with a customized marketing plan.

I'm smart, I'm honest, I'm successful, and my online marketing skills are unparalleled.
