The Agate Bay Pier and Swim Club offers a private beach for its members, along with a pier and buoy field for its members. Club membership, offered as a priority to homeowners in the neighborhood, includes a seasonal swimming pool, picnic areas, tennis courts, and a pier on Lake Tahoe with a buoy field, where members can moor their boat for the season.

The initiation fees can be steep -- $50,000 for one transferrable membership in 2025 -- but that's far less expensive for lakefront access at Lake Tahoe than it would be to purchase a lakefront condo (with associated HOA fees) or a lakefront home at Tahoe.
